Racing against time from a castle in Portugal to a Syrian fortress and on to the Vatican, Jack follows facts and hunches as he is roughed up, shot at, and attacked, but never disheartened. What began as an impossible task, suddenly becomes conceivable as Jack pieces together the abstract clues. Along the way, Jack’s ex-wife muddles things up, his ex-fiancée renews her interest in him, and his current girlfriend fights for the man she loves.
