aboutmepagephotoBorn in Duluth Minnesota—home to giant ore freighters and frigid winters—and growing up in and around the Minneapolis area, Dana married his high school sweetheart, Dona, during their second year in college together. After a short stint in the Army, (thanks to a lucky number in the draft lottery) he attained a degree in pharmacy from the University of Minnesota.

After graduation, Dana pursued a newfound interest in Christianity that eventually led to a life-changing experience for him and his family. During this time, his study of the Bible and its precepts formed a reservoir that he would draw upon in the future for both spiritual guidance and as material for his writing.

Seeking a warmer clime, the Greenhoe family moved to Florida, residing in Naples, Orlando, and finally the Tampa area. With both daughters married, Dana finally had the time again to pursue his former interests of running and writing.

An avid runner, Dana runs the 26.2-mile distance in races all across the country. He recently achieved one of his goals – to run at least one marathon in each of the states.

As for his writing, Dana enjoys the adventure genre with a plot usually centered on a religious relic or theme. Deception in Babylon is his first published novel, but follows earlier manuscripts: The Fourth Temple and Double Portion Man.
